The Draupner S and E platforms in the Norwegian North Sea form a key hub in Norway’s network of submarine gas trunklines.
The Draupner S platform was installed in 1984. Draupner E was installed in 1994. The platforms stand in 70 metres of water in block 16/11. The platforms stand close together and are linked by a bridge.
The Draupner installations play a key role in Norway's gas transport system to continental Europe.
