StatoilHydro’s trading organisation is a major player in the market for distillates. North-western Europe represents its principal arena, but the USA and the countries around the Mediterranean are also important markets.
In addition to delivering refined products to its own marketing entities, the product trading unit does extensive business with external companies for both physical deliveries and derivatives.
Sales of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) and petrochemical naphtha are handled by the NGL trading unit.
