Refined products
StatoilHydro's production of refined products totals some 15 million tonnes per year. In addition to delivering refined products to its own marketing entities, the product trading unit does extensive business with external companies.
Refined products trading
StatoilHydro’s trading organisation is a major player in the market for distillates. North-western Europe represents its principal arena, but the USA and the countries around the Mediterranean are also important markets.
Producing refined products
StatoilHydro operates two refineries, at Mongstad in western Norway (in which Shell has a 21 per cent interest) and at Kalundborg in Denm|ark. In addition comes a 10% group holding in a refinery operated by Shell at Pernis in the Netherlands.
