StatoilHydro operates two refineries, at Mongstad in western Norway (in which Shell has a 21 per cent interest) and at Kalundborg in Denmark.
In addition comes a 10% group holding in a refinery operated by Shell at Pernis in the Netherlands.
Refinery
All crude oil refined at the plant comes from the Norwegian continental shelf. The principal outputs are petrol, diesel oil, jet fuel and other light petroleum products.
Kalundborg refinery
The StatoilHydro refinery at Kalundborg in Denmark refines crude oil and condensate to petrol, jet fuel, diesel oil, propane, heating oil and fuel oil.
