Kårstø processing plant
The Kårstø processing plant north of Stavanger plays a key role in the transport and treatment of gas and condensate (light oil) from important areas on the Norwegian continental shelf.
Sture
The Sture terminal near Bergen in western Norway is an important export port for crude oil, which arrives by pipeline from the Oseberg area and the Grane field in the North Sea.
Refinery
All crude oil refined at the plant comes from the Norwegian continental shelf. The principal outputs are petrol, diesel oil, jet fuel and other light petroleum products.
Kalundborg refinery
The StatoilHydro refinery at Kalundborg in Denmark refines crude oil and condensate to petrol, jet fuel, diesel oil, propane, heating oil and fuel oil.
