Vale is a gas and condensate field developed as a satellite installation with a sea-floor template tied into the Heimdal Gas Center platform by a 16.5 kilometer long pipeline.
The Vale field will – according to plan – produce 1.6 million Sm3 gas and 2,600 barrels condensate per day via Heimdal.
Water depths in the area are approximately 115 metres.
The reservoir consists of Middle Jurassic sandstone in the Brent group.
