The Tyrihans development comprises the Tyrihans South deposit which is an oil field with a gas cap and Tyrihans North which is a gas and condensate field with a thin oil zone.

The field is being developed with five subsea templates – four for production/gas injection and one for water injection.
The well stream will be transferred to the Kristin platform through a 43 kilometre pipeline.
As with Kristin, Tyrihans gas will be sent via the Åsgard Transport pipeline to the Kårstø processing complex near Stavanger.
Oil and condensate from Tyrihans will be stabilised with liquids production from Kristin and sent via an existing pipeline to the Åsgard C storage vessel before further transport by tanker.
Plans call for Tyrihans to commence production in 2009 when spare capacity will be available in Kristin’s topside facilities.
