Service stations in Scandinavia

Denmark

StatoilHydro operates 329 Statoil-branded service stations and lorry stops in Denmark, and has about 17% of the petrol market.

The first unstaffed Danish station under the 1-2-3 brand was opened in March 2001, and 51 of these automated sites can now be found around the country.

Sweden

From 1 October 2007, StatoilHydro is the owner of two companies in Sweden – Svenska Statoil AB and Norsk Hydro Olje AB.

Svenska Statoil AB operates some 600 service stations under its own brand name. Among other products, the company also distributes and markets diesel, fuel oil, gas oil, wood pellets and aviation fuel. Developing the sale of lubricants is another activity.

Norsk Hydro Olje AB now operates around 500 Hydro and UnoX stations. All Hydro service stations have a broad range of products and are staffed. The company also supplies electricity, lubricants and is one of Sweden’s biggest suppliers of fuel oil to private households.

Norway

More than 500 StatoilHydro sites sell petrol and diesel oil in Norway, ranging from small local dealers with a couple of pumps to large service centres with a broad range of goods and services.

The group had about 28% of the Norwegian petrol market at 31 December 2006.

Seventy unstaffed 1-2-3 stations are also operated by StatoilHydro.
