• Operator Eni drilled a successful appraisal well on the Marulk field in PL 122 in the Norwegian Sea, where StatoilHydro has a 50% holding.
• StatoilHydro found gas in the Gamma prospect in PL 312 in the Norwegian Sea.
• StatoilHydro found oil in the Fram area of PL 090 in the North Sea.

February

• StatoilHydro struck oil south-west of Grane in PL 169 in the North Sea.
• Noil Energy ASA found oil and a small gas cap in Draupne in PL 001B in the North Sea. StatoilHydro has a 50% interest.

March

• StatoilHydro struck oil and gas in the Obesum prospect in PL 228 in the Barents Sea.

April

• Eni discovered gas and condensate in Afrodite in PL 293 in the North Sea. StatoilHydro has a 40% interest.
• StatoilHydro found gas in the Natalia prospect in PL 263 in the Norwegian Sea.

May

• StatoilHydro struck gas and condensate in the Alve field in PL 159B in the Norwegian Sea.
• StatoilHydro found hydrocarbons in PL 053’s Theta structure in the Oseberg area of the North Sea.
• StatoilHydro found hydrocarbons in the Delta S2 structure of PL 104 near Oseberg South.
• StatoilHydro discovered gas in the Galtvort prospect in PL 348 in the Norwegian Sea.
