Statoil ASA achieved an income before financial items, other items, income taxes and minority interest of NOK 14.2 billion for the second quarter of 2004.
This is an increase of 38 per cent compared with the second quarter of 2003. Earnings per share were NOK 2.01 as against NOK 2.03 for the second quarter of 2003.
