Implement further measures for integrity and human rights risk management and mitigations
Develop a learning module for planning and implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR), including reassessment of the CSR guidance tool.

Further develop Integrity and Social Responsibility (ISR) training and adapt to different staff target groups.

Improve procedures and follow up of corporate social responsibility/ social investments, including budget tracking.

A CSR plan/social investments review process was established, including budget tracking, ensuring systematic quality assurance by relevant business areas in the company.

Reassess and develop effective stakeholder dialogue and reporting processes.
The process begun in 2007, and it will be continued in 2008.

 Ensure improved stakeholder dialogue and reporting processes.
Review and update the work process for the early identification of country risks, including strengthening link to impact assessment. Frequent country risk workshops and improved focus on update of quarterly reports. Enhance awareness of ISR risks in key countries.

Further develop operative method for managing reputation risk. Continued focus on reputation risk as the final outcome of country risk assessments.
Improved ISR risk management integrated into the decision-making process.
Develop an approach to measure the social impact of operations. Methodology for measuring impacts developed in collaboration with key partners. Test and finalise approach to understanding and managing socio-economic impacts of operations.
Assess the need to update human rights standards in governing documents, including human rights screening of suppliers, contractors and investments. Human rights screening included as part of revised integrity due diligence procedures in procurement processes (creation of Supplier Declaration).
Ensure clear ISR standards in the procurement process and in partnerships.
Develop learning module on human rights for staff.
A draft learning module on human rights was developed.

Deliver training on human rights to staff in high risk areas.
Undertake human rights assessments for relevant countries.
Human rights assessment piloted in five countries.
Conduct human rights assessments in selected high risk countries.
Ensure strong ownership of Ethics Code of Conduct throughout the organisation.
Develop approaches to increase local spin-offs which support business development, and test them in relevant countries.
Internal best practises assessed in selected countries, no separate testing implemented except ongoing work in several countries.
Develop strategy for local content and support country activities.
