We are planning to build a centre for research and technology development in Alberta to support our heavy oil operations around the world.
The technology centre represents a long-term investment in current and future activities and development projects.
Heavy oil recovery is challenging and energy-intensive, and it requires that we use the newest and most advanced technology available.
New technology will have to play a key role if we are to realise our ambitions for the recovery and upgrading of heavy oil.
