StatoilHydro is a partner in the oil field Schiehallion on the Atlantic margin, approximately 150 kilometres west of Shetland.
Production at the field began in 1998.
The sea depth of the field is 375 metres, and the field has been developed with a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO).
Oil from the field is exported by tankship to the Sullom Voe terminal. Gas is exported by pipeline to the Magnus field, where it is reinjected to increase oil production.
Production:
65,000 barrels of oil per day. The figure is increasing and will reach a secondary plateau of 100,000 barrels of oil per day.
