International Exploration & Production (INT) is responsible for the company’s exploration, development and production of oil and gas outside the Norwegian continental shelf.
International business is organized into four geographic regions.
Two regions are managed from Oslo, one from Stavanger, and one from Houston, Texas.
The international organization have the following geographic entities:
North America:
- The Gulf of Mexico
- Canada
- Mexico
The South Atlantic Basin:
- Brazil
- Venezuela
- Angola
- Nigeria
Europe and North Africa:
- Algeria
- Libya
- Egypt
- Great Britain
- Ireland
Eurasia, the Middle East and Asia:
- Azerbaijan
- Russia
- Iran
- the Middle East, and Asia
International exploration and production is headed by Executive vice president Peter Mellbye .
