StatoilHydro operates two refineries and a methanol facility. A major improvement programme is underway that encompasses operations, efficiency and value creation.
Gas processing
When processing natural gas the heavier components are removed and sold to the petrochemical industry. The remaining dry gas is piped to the customers.
Oil refining
When crude oil is refined, the principal products are petrol, diesel oil, jet fuel and other light petroleum products.
